Entitled Karen blocks dude's driveway during school pickup, he blocks her right back: 'Ma'am I live here and I'd like to get into my garage'

This lady was asking for trouble. She was picking up her kid from school and decided to park on a neighbor's driveway. Now according to the neighbor, who shared this thread on the r/pettyrevenge subreddit, it is quite common for parents to back into his driveway during pickup as it can get especially crowded at that time. He is normally ok with this, as it seems to come with the territory of living across the street from a school.

However, this time, the Original Poster was on his way home when he saw the entitled Karen blocking his garage. He politely asked her if she could move, at least temporarily, so he could park in his garage but she refused. Now, there was not much he could do at this point because he was blocking traffic so he decided to squeeze his car into his own driveway, blocking her car in the process. Then came the real petty revenge. At this point, the Original Poster went into his house for a "quick" bathroom trip and while he was using the facilities, the woman's kid arrived and she was ready to leave. Unfortunately, though, she couldn't because his cat was blocking hers from pulling out. She waited and waited and waited while he took his sweet time. That, folks, is what happens when you make things harder for someone else. You never know how they can make things harder for you in return.

    Ok then block my driveway I live next to a school and I've had parents back up into my driveway to wait for their children. If I'm not going anywhere I don't mind no harm no foul. One day I came home to find a woman in my driveway. I got out of my car and asked her to please pull out for a second so I could pull in and then you can back up where you were.

    Because it's a narrow street and parents are now parked on both sides, the street access is now narrow and only one car can get by at a time. I told her that I cannot wait here a "few" minutes because I'm blocking traffic! Well I'll be moving in a bit. I said "ok, no you won't be". I then parked perpendicular to her vehicle blocking my own driveway and her vehicle. As I walked by I told her I really have to use the bathroom

A "few" minutes later I could hear honking. A "few" more minutes later I hear honking and my doorbell ringing. Only because I saw it was a child ringing on my ring doorbell I answered "I'll be out in a minute I'm washing my hands". I could hear the little boy screaming to his mother ( I assume). HE SAYS HE'S WASHING

    HIS HANDS. By the time I came out a "few" more minutes later, all the vehicles and students were gone. I very slowly walked past her car avoiding eye contact and got into my car. I adjusted the mirror moved the car seat forward then back slowly, started the car and moved my car forward slowly. All I heard was the tires screeching and the car horn honking as she left.

    Her windows were rolled up so I can only assume the little boy got an earful of nice words as she was leaving. My neighbors were wondering what was going on with all the honking. When I explained they said, oh yeah, that's what we kinda figured.

    The owner of the house came out and yelled at her as she returned and was upset because they needed to leave for work. The woman who blocked the driveway yells back and says "it's the first day of school, what did you expect".

    65Russty 16 hr. ago That's almost perfect! The only thing I would have changed is instead of avoiding eye contact I would have maintained eye contact with Karen as much as possible.

    Fun-Yellow-6576 16 hr. ago My friend bought some of those obnoxious neon green NO PARKING VEHICLE WILL BE TOWED stickers and believe me, after sticking a few of those on the driver's side window, people stopped blocking her driveway. They were the size of a piece of notebook paper, so not something small that just wasn't noticed

    Dumbname25644. 15 hr. ago I tried to do that to someone parked in my driveway once. He did call the cops. Cops came out and gave me a ticket for parking across a driveway. Turns out in Australia you can not park across any driveway even your own. So yeah the trespasser had more rights than I.
